Our Story

Our founder, Kat, began her career in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant, where she gained an understanding of the many different ways pets experience the world — from confident and social to more sensitive and reserved.

She later worked in a positive reinforcement-based training environment, where she deepened her understanding for dog behavior, communication, and how individual pets respond to routine, guidance and new experiences.

Throughout these experiences, one belief became clear: exceptional care is never one-size-fits-all.

Every pet has their own personality, preferences, and way of communicating. They deserve to be understood as individuals—not expected to simply adapt to unfamiliar situations.

This philosophy led to the creation of an in-homepet care service built around comfort, familiarity, and trust. A place where pets can remain in the environment they know while receiving care that respects who they are.

Today, we provide calm, enrichment-based care for dogs and cats in their own homes. Each visit is thoughtfully tailored to the pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level — whether they are outgoing, curious, energetic, shy, or somewhere in between.

Because pets are more than just animals in our care. They are companions, family members, and individuals with their own needs and personalities.

Our goal is simple: to provide thoughtful, reliable care that allows pets to feel secure and pet parents to feel confident knowing their animals are understood, respected, and well cared for.

The Heart Behind Our Brand

The heart behind our logo is Maxwell, Kat’s soul dog and the inspiration behind everything we do.

Maxwell represents what so many of us know to be true: our pets are so much more than just pets. They are family, companions, adventure partners, and best friends.

Kat's relationship with Maxwell reflects the kind of connection we strive to build with every pet in our care—one based on trust, consistency, understanding, and respect for who they are as individuals.

Our logo was created as a quiet reminder of the special bond between people and their pets—the everyday moments, routines, and memories that make them family.
